TSWELOPELE SOLUTIONS TRUSTED WITH TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT BY FIFA, AND CELEBRATES THE SUCCESSFUL HOSTING OF THE 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP
Tswelopele Solutions was not only tasked with installing crowd and access control technology at the FIFA 2010 World Cup venues, but it was also trusted with Technology support throughout the tournament proving yet again that Tswelopele is second to none when it comes to the implementation, management and support of Access control technology.
Our technicians and project managers from South Africa and Austria, representing our global business partner Skidata, were spread through the country to offer support and intelligence to the organisers and venue owners. Throughout the month-long tournament and all the 62 games the Tswelopele team was commuting from:
- Durban (Moses Mabhida Stadium),
- Port Elizabeth ( Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium),
- Rustenburg (Royal Bafokeng Stadium),
- Johannesburg (Ellis Park Stadium) and
- Pretoria (Loftus Versfeld Stadium).
to ensure that there were no bottlenecks in the ticketing reading and access control operation.
